The construction of incinerators will increase the price of subway fare
Due to the construction of five incinerators in Moscow and Kazan, the cost of travel in metro slightly more expensive, said Andrew Shipilov RBC, the head of “RT-invest”, which builds these plants
To subsidise the construction of incinerators “RT-invest” in Moscow and Kazan were introduced “green tariff” renewable energy contract to supply capacity to the wholesale electricity market. “This was 67% of revenue of plants for thermal processing. This gives rise in the first pricing zone of the wholesale market of electricity and capacity, which applies only to industry, 0,1%,” — said in an interview with RBC co-owner and General Director of “RT-invest” Andrey Shipilov.
“One of this more expensive electricity? Russian Railways, the Moscow metro. But in the metro the cost of a single ticket will increase by 3 kopecks,” — promised Shipilov. Now the cost of one trip in the Moscow metro on the map “Troika” is 40 RUB. Thus, we are talking about the increase of tariffs due to subsidies for waste incineration plants is only 0.01%.
The head of “RT-invest” noted that the project of construction of five incinerators in Moscow and Kazan taking into account the infrastructure for sorting and separate collection of waste is estimated at 200 billion rubles. 20% (40 billion rubles) of which the company funded from its own funds, and 80% (160 billion rubles) is a consortium of Gazprombank and VEB.
