In Nizhny Tagil, a growing number of defaulters for utilities, calling themselves “citizens of the USSR”. This is with reference to a source in the regional Department of the Federal bailiff service (FSSP) according to the portal Tagilcity.
The first treatment of this kind, as writes the edition, appeared in Nizhny Tagil in 2017. By June of 2019 in the city having read dozens of such debtors, most of them have already instituted several enforcement proceedings. Total debt activists, according to local employees of the Federal bailiff service, reaches 6.5 million rubles.
Debts Tagil “Soviet citizens” in most cases belong to the municipal sphere, however, some of them motivated by ideological reasons for the refusal to pay on other loans, including the mortgage.
The interlocutor of the edition in UFSSP on Sverdlovsk region stressed that the local credit organizations give loans including “Soviet citizens” with bad credit history. This leads bailiffs on the idea of the existence of some organization with their people in banks and MFIs.
“We have realized there is a whole structure in which people are helped to write the documents [proving the illegality of the requirements for applicants for utility and other commitments],” he added Tagilcity.
