Putin: undergraduates of pedagogical universities should be able to teach in schools.
The Russian President believes that the legislation can be amended appropriately.
MOSCOW, February 4. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin believes it is right to introduce an amendment that would have allowed the students of pedagogical institutes to teach in schools.
At a meeting with members of the public to the head of state asked the teacher from Cherepovets Victoria Smirnova, who lamented the shortage of personnel in schools. She offered to involve students in pedagogical institutes last year, which will require to adjust the legislation.
Putin noted that experts and MPs opposed the involvement of teaching professionals in various fields because of their lack of pedagogical education. “But why not allow senior students to teach at the school, I honestly don’t understand. I think you are right”, – the President said to the teacher.
In his opinion, the legislation may be amended appropriately. “That would be the amendment Smirnova”, – under laughter of the audience concluded the head of state.
